The vision and function of the “3 Strands” Marriage Ministry is to assist engaged and married couples in strengthening their relationship with each other and with the Lord, always keeping Jesus as the focal point. We have found that as couples grow closer to God individually and jointly they will, by extension, grow closer to one another.

Our Approach:

• We will assist couples by pointing them toward scripture and encouraging them to apply biblical instruction in order to build and strengthen their marriages.
• We will accomplish this through regular meetings, bible teaching, and times of fellowship, events and activities. We will develop counseling teams who will provide biblical post-marital and pre-marital counseling.
• We will give couples encouragement and instruction from God’s Word. Although we will be using various resources as teaching tools, the only book needed to create a good marriage is the Bible. Any couple who wants a strong, Christ-honoring marriage only needs to seek God in prayer and follow His direction.

 

It is our prayer that this ministry can communicate that to couples and that they apply it to their lives so that others may see Christ in the midst of their marriage and He will be glorified.

“3 Strands” Marriage Ministry meets on the third Saturday of each month in the fellowship hall from 7-8:30 pm, beginning November 2010.
