Baptidzo; to cleanse by dipping or submerging, to wash, to make clean with water….
Why do we Baptize?
Because the Lord commands it in Scripture (Mt.28:19) and it is an act of obedience that follows our faith.
What is the significance of Baptism?
It is an outward expression of our inward 'heart' as we understand the following from Scripture.....
- We identify with Christ's death, burial and resurrection Romans 6:3
- We want to bury the old life (the 'old man') and put on the 'new man' (the new spiritual life) Romans 6:6
- Baptism is illustrative of the washing away of our sins as a result of receiving Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior (Titus 3:5). It is illustrative of regeneration.

If you or a family member would like to be baptized or would like additional information about baptisms please contact the church office.
Please wear a long T-shirt or something modest as your outermost garment prior to being baptized
